MONODECK

Monodeck Mat 15 – 15mm thick acoustic overlay mat for timber / concrete floors

The monodeck Mat 15 system is designed to reduce airborne & impact sound transmission through timber or concrete floors.

Monodeck Mat 15 is a 15mm thick tri-layer system with a reconstituted 8mm ACF foam core which will provide impact and airborne improvement.

Monodeck Mat 15 is ideal for floor upgrades when looking to improve sound reduction on stairs and under engineered timber floors.

Monodeck 17T – 17mm thick acoustic overlay board for timber / concrete floors

The monodeck 17T system is designed to reduce transmission through timber floors in situations where finished floor height is critical.

Monodeck 17T consists of a layer of 8mm reconstituted ACF (Acoustic Chip Foam) bonded to 9mm moisture resistant medium-density fibreboard.

When installed as part of a complete sound reduction system, it enables a timber floor to meet the sound transmission regulations of Approved Document E 2003 and subsequent amendments in 2004, 2010 and 2013.

Monodeck 26T – 26mm thick acoustic overlay board for timber floors

The monodeck 26T system is designed to reduce transmission through timber floors in situations where finished floor height is not critical.

Monodeck 26C – 26mm thick acoustic overlay board for concrete floors

The monodeck 26C system is designed to reduce sound transmission and also reduce impact sound transmission through concrete floors.

Monodeck 26C consists of a layer of 8mm reconstituted ACF (Acoustic Chip Foam) bonded to 18mm P5 V313 moisture resistant chipboard.

When installed as part of a complete party floor construction either system enables a concrete floor to meet the sound transmission standards of Approved Document E 2003 and subsequent amendments in 2004, 2010 and 2013.

Monodeck 32T consists of a layer of 10mm reconstituted ACF (Acoustic Chip Foam) bonded to 22mm V313 P5 moisture resistant chipboard.

When installed as part of a complete sound reduction system, it enables a traditional timber joisted floor to meet the sound transmission regulations of Approved Document E 2003 and subsequent amendments in 2004 , 2010, 2013 and 2015.

The monodeck 37T system is designed to replace floorboards and reduce sound transmission.

Monodeck 37T consists of a layer of 15mm reconstituted ACF (Acoustic Chip Foam) bonded to 22mm V313 P5 moisture resistant chipboard.

Econocheck Deep Batten 75RD: Robust Detail-compliant acoustic batten for timber frame

The econocheck Deep Batten 75RD system is designed to reduce sound transmission through timber floors within a timber frame structure.

Econocheck Deep Batten 75RD consists of 15mm ACF bonded to a 60mm softwood batten.

When installed as part of a complete sound reduction system, it enables a timber floor to meet the sound transmission regulations of Part E.

Econocheck Shallow Batten: acoustic battens for timber & concrete floors

The econocheck Shallow Batten system is designed to reduce sound transmission through a level concrete structural sub-floor.

When installed as part of a complete sound reduction system, it enables a timber floor to meet the sound transmission regulations of Approved Document E 2003 and subsequent amendments in 2004, 2010 and 2013.

Should the requirement be for a batten height other than that specified on this page please contact us for further technical advice and suitability. Alternatively you could consider the Deep Batten 75RD.

Isocheck Acoustic Hangers

For decoupling ceiling and supporting floor

Many systems designed for use on timber or concrete separating floors benefit from decoupling the ceiling and increasing the airspace beneath the supporting floor. Where the floor to ceiling height allows Acoustic Hangers often provide the best performance when installed with an acoustic floor treatment.

Isocheck decoupling (resilient) bar

To enhance the acoustic properties of a separating floor or wall

A concealed suspension section (metal channel) which serves to enhance the acoustic properties of a separating floor or wall when used in conjunction with other acoustic systems.

The bar decouples the Isocheck panel or standard high density plasterboard from a timber stud wall or joisted floor. In the case of a medium depth separating floor the bar allows a lesser performing and costly floating floor to comply with the manditory acoustic test criteria specified in Approved Document E of the building regulations.

It is easy to fix and when installed correctly is very affective in improving the structures acoustic performance.

Isocheck Adhesive

For use with both Isocheck and Econocheck tongued & grooved board joints.

As a rule of thumb a 1 litre bottle (as illustrated) should cover approx 20m2 depending on the board size, ensuring glue is always applied to the top and bottom of the t&g joint.

IsoBlock & Bar System

Isocheck Iso-Block & Iso-Bar is a high performing sound reduction system designed to offer a more robust alternative to a standard resilient bar with similar low profile (space saving) features.

The isocheck Iso-Block and Iso-Bar system comprises a vibration absorbing steel channel which is secured to studs and joists with isolation blocks.

o Attaching the isolation block to ceiling joists, timber and metal studs simply and easily secures the Iso-Bar furring channel and decouples the gypsum board from the structure. The resulting construction provides a resilient isolation solution to enhance or construct separating and partition walls and ceilings.

Applications

The Iso-Block and Iso-Bar system is suitable for enhancing separating ceilings and walls.

For low-cost, space saving ceilings and walls that provide superior noise control.

Isocheck perimeter flanking band

Anti-noise gaskets

Isocheck flanking bands act as anti-noise gaskets between floating floor systems and structural elements. In this way, expansion is also catered for without the need for an air gap, where noise leakage may otherwise occur.

Isocheck isolation strip

For stud walls and steel & timber joists

Used to reduce impact sound transmission on stud walls, steel and timber joists.

Commonly used for refurbishment upgrades, its adhesive backing ensures it can be held in position as the works progress.
